The E-80 Operating System Version 1.06 contains the following new features and functional improvements:

1.Kick & Bass Booster
This new function allows you to emphasize the low frequencies of the kick drum and bass sounds used in the selected Music Style if you think they need a little more punch. This setting applies to the entire E-80. You can choose among three settings: OFF, MEDIUM, HIGH. 

 2.Three amazing new Drum Kits that you can use to compose styles with Asian taste.

 3. The software also improves the TAP TEMPO function and the possibility to play the FILL DOWN 3 by pressing the VARIATION 4.

 Moreover the Operating System Version 1.06 has fixed some bugs existing in the previous versions.

The complete Update operation takes about 5 minutes. Though your user data are preserved during the update, we recommend that you make a backup to avoid damaging your data in case something goes wrong. Before starting the update procedure, make sure that the “Internal Protection” switch (on the E-80 rear panel) is set to “OFF” position (unlocked position).

This updating procedure requires at least 7000Kbyte of free space in your E-80 Internal Memory. To check the remaining memory space, press [MENU] > [UTILITY] > [INFO], and see “Free Space Internal Memory.” If you do not have enough memory space, please see “E-80 Update / Backup / Recovery” page in www.rolandkeyboardclub.com website or contact your nearest Roland Service.
